Our hotel is located in the central district of Berlin-Mitte and has excellent connections to the public transport network.
You can reach Berlin Hauptbahnhof (the main railway station) by tram line M5, from tram stops Naturkundemuseum (2 stops) or Oranienburger Tor (3 stops). Within walking distance, you'll find numerous shops, restaurants and bars. The underground station and the Oranienburger Tor tram stop are a 4-minute walk away, and Berlin Hauptbahnhof is a 15-minute walk away.
In Berlin's central Mitte district you will find many famous sights and attractions. Walk along the Boulevard Unter den Linden, past the Staatsoper and through the impressive Brandenburg Gate. On the Museum Island in the Spree river you will find the Pergamon Museum, the Altes Museum, the Bode Museum and the Alte Nationalgalerie.
Evening entertainment is also close by: In the direct vicinity of the Hotel Aquino is the Friedrichstadtpalast, a world-class variety theatre. The Staatsoper unter den Linden and two renowned theatres, the Berliner Ensemble and the Maxim Gorki Theater, are also just a short walk away.
Arrival by car:
The Hotel Aquino is centrally located in Berlin's Mitte district and is easily accessible from all motorway junctions via the main traffic routes. You can park your vehicle safely and conveniently in our in-house underground car park for the duration of your stay.
Arrival by train:
If you arrive by train, your destination is Berlin Central Station. From the main station it is a short taxi ride to the Hotel Aquino. Alternatively, you can reach us comfortably in just 8 minutes by tram M5 in the direction of Hohenschönhausen/Zingster Straße. The tram stop is located at the northern exit of the station directly at Europaplatz. Travel 3 stops to the Hannoversche Straße stop. From there it is only a short walk to the hotel (240 m on Hannoversche Straße heading west, against the tram's direction of travel).
Arrival by plane:
Air travellers can reach us from Berlin Airport BER (Terminal 1-2 and Terminal 5) in just under an hour with the S-Bahn line S9. You have the choice: If you get off at Friedrichstraße station, it is only a 900 m walk to Hotel Aquino. A nice walk awaits you along the left side of Friedrichstraße northwards, across the Spree, past the Friedrichstadtpalast and a until you reach Hannoversche Straße two blocks further on. Cross the street and turn left, and after just a few steps you will find yourself in front of the entrance to the Katholische Höfe and the hotel. Or continue one stop further to the main station and take the M9 tram from there (see "Arriving by train"). Of course, taxi cabs are also available around the clock at both stations.
